Hamburg, 26 September 2017: David Landgrebe – who has been a member of the Executive Board of Ernst Russ AG, a maritime asset and investment manager, since June 2013 – will leave the company by mutual agreement on 31 October 2017 to devote himself to new tasks.

David Landgrebe joined Ernst Russ AG in June 2013 after positions as Restructuring Director and Authorised Representative at HSH Nordbank AG and as Director of Investment and Group Development at Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG. At this point, he was responsible for the departments’ corporate development, HR and IT, among other things, including the investment and asset management of various asset classes.

In this position, he significantly helped shape Ernst Russ AG into an asset and investment manager with a focus on the maritime sector. In this way, he contributed greatly to the company’s positive economic development. The company will now be led by the Executive Board members Jens Mahnke and Ingo Kuhlmann.

David Landgrebe: “I’m thrilled to have contributed to building a completely new organisational structure and a stable company through my four years of intense and successful work here. This development is still ongoing but what we have achieved represents a substantial and structurally solid base for further growth. In mutual understanding with my colleagues on the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, I will turn towards new endeavours at the end of 2017 but will, however, continue to function in an advisory capacity for Ernst Russ AG.”
