The subject of this study is the analysis of the existing fleet of small bulk carriers and its development from 2009 until 2013, with a particular emphasis on standard, but ice-strengthened Minibulkers of a deadweight around 6,000 tons, which are suitable for an all-season trade within the Baltic Sea.

A statistical addendum provides the fleet's benchmark data which includes information on vessels' main details like container capacity, speed, draft and ice-class, as well as the Top Ten European Operators. It covers the fleet segments from 4,000 to 5,499 tdwat, from 5,500 to 6,599 tdwat and from 6,600 to 8,200 tdwat. 27 Pages. Text, Tables and Graphics.
